Westminster welcomes ten new students

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” — Matthew 7:7–8

At the start of the new academic year, we are deeply grateful to God for answering our prayers and drawing ten new students to study with us here at Westminster.

Over the last three years, we have seen God’s faithfulness and generosity in answering our prayers first-hand. We prayed for five, then seven, then ten new men to choose to train for ministry at Westminster—and in each case, that is exactly the number we got!

Of the ten, seven will be resident in England, alongside students from Norway, Ireland and North America; just under a third of them are local to Westminster; and all of them aspire to the ministry.

This new cohort brings our student body to 20 in total; 4 men are already pursuing a place for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Emmanuel Dunbar, MDiv student

“I praise God for the opportunity to study at Westminster,” says Emmanuel Dunbar, who is studying the MDiv degree programme at Westminster. “What has impressed me more than anything is the way strong and biblical convictions are going hand in hand with humility and love. To say that I am looking forward to the coming years here is an understatement.”

Sergiu Grosu, DipBS student

“When I was walking the wrong way, the gracious hand of the Father brought me to the right path,” shares Sergiu Grosu, a new DipBS student at Westminster. “I hope that this training will help me to show more people this glorious God whom we serve, and that more Moldavians will know what Reformed Theology is!”

Please join us in giving thanks to God for each of our students—both old and new—and asking Him to strengthen them in His grace, supply them with all they need, and send them to proclaim Him faithfully wherever He might place them.
