Paul uses his training in theology and librarianship to develop the seminary library into a resource for both students and the wider community. Previously he did the same thing building a library for African Bible University in Uganda. As an academic tutor in the seminary he also brings his prior experience as a teacher of English, Greek and music. Paul is married with two children, and is a member of Durham Presbyterian Church.
