Jonathan joined Westminster in 2020 after a 31-year career in secondary education. He led the North East’s top state secondary school for twelve years before moving to assist a school in Special Measures in S Yorkshire. As Executive Principal he was responsible for five years for academic standards across a family of schools serving disadvantaged communities.
A founding elder (and pianist) of All Saints Presbyterian Church, Jonathan is married to Julie. Out of work, when not with their own family or church family, they love to walk, hand in hand, across windswept Wainwright fells.
